Water buffalo horn is among our most durable chew items. 100% natural , they are appreciated by dogs with strong jaws.
WHAT EXACTLY IS A HORN MADE OF?
The horn is, in fact, a bony core with an outer keratin layer. Before being put on the market, they are bathed in boiling water to remove these pits and sanded to eliminate the surplus edges which could be less pleasant to chew.
THE WATER BUFFALO … BUT STILL?
From the bovidae family, the water buffalo is the equivalent of our " good old Quebec beef " in Asia. As of today, there are farms of this beast on all continents. All of our water buffalo products are sourced from free-range, grass-fed buffaloes.
WHY WATER BUFFALO PROTEIN?
Water buffalo protein is low in fat but high in protein . It brings an interesting variant to the "regular" bovine protein given its different smell (and stronger, beware of the sensitive little nose) as well as for its great durability .
Like most chews, this product goes a long way in maintaining good oral health while reducing tartar and plaque.
IMPORTANT POINTS:
- The horn is not recommended for puppies (or until adult teeth are firmly anchored in the gums) and seniors.
- Chewing items are always to be offered under supervision.
- A bowl of fresh water within reach of the animal during a chewing session is never a luxury!
QUICK TIP: Since the horn is hollow, why not use it as an interactive toy to fill and freeze creamy treats like canned food or natural peanut butter?

Malheureusement, pas adapté pour mon chien qui est beaucoup trop intense dans sa mastication. Après seulement 2-3 minutes, il a fendu une partie de la corne et j’ai dû lui enlever par sécurité avant qu’il n’avale un morceau.

Ma setter anglais adore sa corne!! Elle est loin de l’avoir terminée contrairement aux autres produits de mastication qu’elle dévore
Une des rares gâterie à gruger qui dure vraiment longtemps. Je mets toujours un peu de beurre d'arachide dans la corne et mon chien capote! Il passe un bon 30 minute parfois même 1h à la gruger avant de s'en désintéressé. Ensuite je la range et je recommence à nouveau un autre jour puisqu'il en reste en masse. Je recommande!
Je n’avais pas d’attente quand j’ai commandé cette corne mais wow une belle découverte. Mon goldendoodle a prit quelques jours à oser sen approcher mais finalement il l’adore. Elle va durer vraiment très très longtemps et aucune odeur. Toutefois c’est assez « lourd » et bruyant donc peut être une meilleure option pour l’extérieur mais ici on s’habitue!
