SLIPPER BARK... OK? The slippery elm ( ulmus rubra ) is a tree that has been used in the preparation of medicinal remedies for a very long time. Its bark contains abundant mucilage : a viscous plant compound that swells on contact with water without dissociating. Mucilage is therefore an excellent lubricant .
THE BENEFITS: Creating a slippery coating inside the digestive system, from the esophagus to the large intestine, this natural lubricant therefore helps to stop constipation and soothes, at the same time, inflammation and ulceration of the gastrointestinal system.

INGREDIENTS: Slippery Elm Bark Powder - 100% Organic!
DOSAGE: 1/4 cu. 1/2 tsp per 10 lbs - once or twice daily
* For dogs on a kibble diet, it is recommended to mix the powder with water or broth to create a thick syrup that is added as a "topper" on the kibble. For raw-fed dogs, you can simply sprinkle the powder on the offered meal.
